Sir Knight Jack M. Harper II is a leader. He is a man who loves God, his family, his profession, serving his community, and Masonry. Jack is active in both the Baptist and Methodist Churches, and is proud to be a Christian and a Knight Templar.
Professionally, Jack has been involved in local government leadership since 1993, primarily serving as City Manager. He is responsible for leading the day to day operations of all aspects of city government services. He has worked in cities ranging in population from 5,000 to as large as 1 million, and on budgets that surpass $1 billion.
Jack is an active leader in civic and volunteer organizations. He is a Past President in Rotary, and has been in the Boy Scouts of America for more than 40 years. Jack is an Eagle Scout and Silver Beaver recipient. He has served in numerous local, regional, and national Boy Scout leadership capacities and is a Vigil Honor recipient in the Order of the Arrow.
Jack is very active in Masonry, and has been a leader at the local, state, and national levels. He has received numerous honors including the Scottish Rite 33°, and the Order of the Purple Cross. He is a Past Grand Commander of Texas, and currently serves the Fraternity in the following leadership roles:
